Customer Reviews
“I bought the Midnight Wave about a year ago and LOVE it, I rotate it through my flipping collection every few days and it has held up to various drops very well. I especially love how the handles thin near the blade for improved fanning and twirls.
Her customer service has always been timely and extremely kind and helpful, and she even offers coaching!”

“I got the Flame and it flips great. The weight distribution is very well done and it fans amazing. It does chaplins really well too and really does it all. Great for people getting into the hobby and is really fun to flip for more experienced flippers. While flipping and seeing it in camera or in motion is really pretty. The fade from Orange to Red from the handles and the black/silver blade is eye catching when flipping and really looks like art moving in a continuous and eye catching momentum. Great job ArtSea, looking forward to your other projects.”

“I purchased The Wave and The Flame for my collection and I’m so glad I did! These balisongs are absolutely beautiful! The balance is great and they flip really well. The online store is also very well put together and Artsea is so helpful and nice! I’m very pleased with my purchase.”

Artsea’s balisongs are absolutely stunning. The quality for the price is simply incredible. The weight and balance leads to a very pleasant experience and effortless flipping. I’ve owned other balisongs before but these are easily the best looking, best functioning and belong on display just as much as in the hand. The silver wave cutouts and ridges on the handles offer excellent grip and work perfectly with the overall texture. Even after lots of drops on the floor these balisongs hold up really really well! These balisongs are my absolute favorites and they are always an instant buy for me as I already have 4 in my arsenal 3 waves and 1 flame all with significant too! So I highly recommend any balisong from Artsea, you won’t be disappointed!

"Just one reason to buy from Artsea, and I think that should be enough; she is a lovely soul, who is upright and true to her passion and overall a nice person. For me, the human element is more important than anything, because that is ultimately reflected in pretty much everything she does. It shows her passion for balisong flipping, the tutorial videos she creates, the ease of her online store, and of course, more recently the trainers she has designed. The trainers flip smoothly, forgive the cliche, but like a hot knife (pun intended for the Flame) through butter, the design reflects the meticulous eye needed to ensure a seamless experience. She doesn’t stop there, because she throws in a maintenance kit with every knife, which I have never seen with any other knife manufacturer whether balisong or otherwise.
She’s also a remarkable instructor, and I’ve been taking lessons from her on and off for about 2 years (I’m no expert due to a lack of my own inability, and no fault of hers), she has a keen eye to pick out things mistakes that I might was making and come up with suggestions on the fly to improve, and those suggestions have always worked. She gauges your level and suggests and pushes you accordingly.
Most online stores and customer experiences are about the merchant trying to “work with you” which at times implies they are eager to just get their stuff out the door, Artsea works to resolve and come up with a solution, no matter the situation. As I was based overseas previously, and those payments and shipments could be tricky going, she always came back with a solution. I find that approach more personalized and of course better.
You will never go wrong with Artsea, or anything associated with her. She’s an awesome person, and supremely talented and has worked hard to learn her craft and it shows through the care she puts in, the details that don’t escape her keen vision, and the love she has for what she’s doing. You can’t ever go wrong with a person that puts that kind of honest energy in their work."
